the future is voting
While employed at HeadCount.org, we partnered with ACE Content to build an online campaign aimed at mobilizing youth voter turnout and political involvement by highlighting the key issues that mattered most to them. To emphasize the importance of their voices in the upcoming 2018 midterm elections, we built a digital toolkit of easily shareable assets such as GIPHY stickers, videos, IG Story buttons, and Snapchat filters. We partnered with Levi’s to design custom branded jackets, which we gifted to social media influencers. We worked with media partners such as Twitch, AdCouncil, Hulu, Pandora, Buzzfeed, Google, Tumblr, and Taxi TV to amplify the reach of our messaging exponentially. In total, the campaign had more than 160 million impressions and won a Shorty Award.

Proud To Protect Pittsburgh
Launched in December 2020, this local engagement campaign encouraged citizens to continue taking COVID-19 precautions during the holiday season. Produced as a collaboration between local autonomous vehicle tech company Argo.ai and the Allegheny County Chamber of Commerce, the “anthem” commercial ran across local TV, radio, and digital media, directing people to a website with additional resources. Meant to foster a strong sense of community, it featured both everyday citizens and local influencers (focused heavily on restaurants, churches, schools, hospitals, and arts institutions) encouraging small gatherings and wearing a mask.

Jack Daniel’s Whiskey wanted to tie it's No.7 brand to a multifaceted event series that married art, music and fantastic whiskey and simultaneously showcased the breadth of the NYC music scene. Over the course of a month, we produced a series of 4 unique, music-centric events in venues across Manhattan & Brooklyn ranging in capacity from 150-1000. To create a “signature blend” of all that makes the NYC music and art scene legendary, we pulled together the best emerging genre-bending talent destined for “classic” status.

Signs of the times X nvrd
HeadCount has always served as a major partner to National Voter Registration Day [NVRD]. As an organization focused on tapping the influence of celebrities, we pivoted our NVRD programming to ensure consistent and wide artist engagement. The ‘Signs of the Times’ program [as it was originally dubbed], continues to be a key marketing tool for HeadCount’s registration and turnout efforts.
In its first year, more than 250 musicians and entertainers like Alicia Keys, Panic! at the Disco, Linkin Park, and the cast of the Daily Show posted a prompt to register to vote across their social media platforms. On NVRD and the days following, these posts generated more than 800K likes and registered more than 20K citizens to vote.
